Meet Our staff

Pastor Scott Alexander

Scott came to know Jesus at the tender age of 5. Shortly after, his parents took their first Pastorate and that began his "on-the-job training." He attributes everything good thing he has learned to them. "My parents are the Godliest people I have ever met. I have so many memories of them praying together, helping anyone end everyone that needed it and never compromising their faith. They provided me with everything I would need to take on a pastoral role or any role, for that matter.”

Shortly after graduating high school, Scott met his future wife, Michelle. They have been together for over 33 years, including almost 30 years of marriage. They have four children (Rebecca, Scott Jr., Kerri-Lynn, and Erin) and four grandchildren (Allie, Aubrey, Ava, and Adilyn). They have served in various Ministry capacities over the years and took over as Lead Pastors of New Life Church in November 2020. Scott attributes every success in ministry to Michelle.

"She is the greatest gift God has ever given to me. She has more love in her heart than anyone I know. The only thing that rivals her outward beauty is her inner beauty. She is pure in her heart and constant in her support.  Any success I have ever had is a direct result of her strength, encouragement, and wisdom."

Scott is an alumnus of Christ for the Nations Institute and a graduate of Life Pacific University in the Foursquare Denomination with a BA in Theology. His passion is teaching the Word of God and helping those bound by addiction. He is also a full-time chaplain for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Prison system.

Pastor Michelle Alexander

Michelle has been serving the Lord since she was a little girl. Her childhood dream was to marry a Pastor and Missionary, who loved Jesus and had a sense of humor, to do ministry with. "God has answered my prayers. Scott has a true Pastor's heart and is the most gifted teacher I have ever heard. He inspires people including me. There are a lot of teachers that do not inspire others but he does. And now as a Chaplain in the prisons, he is a Missionary to so many men who need Jesus and have no hope. I am so proud of him and honored to minister along side him. And, he makes me laugh all the time and there is never a dull moment."

Michelle has served as a leader in a variety of ministries including Youth, Children's, Women's, Home Groups and now Worship. Her approach to each ministry is the same, "I love the people I am serving as much as humanly possible, especially the children. If people feel loved and valued, it opens a door to teach God's Word and that will always bring out the best in them. An old Pastor of ours use to say, 'People do not care about how much you know until they know how much you care.' I have seen that to be so true in Ministry. People need to hear our heart beats not our resumes."

Michelle currently serves New Life Church as the Worship Leader, Women's Group Leader and Children's Director. She also serves on the facility cleaning team, as a liaison to several outside ministries and is a Board member.
